Animate Niagara brings motion to the forefront of the city’s creative scene. Built as an animation festival, the name pairs action with place, turning “animate” from a verb into a destination. It speaks to drawings coming alive, stories in motion, and a community energized by creativity.

The identity is designed around movement and transformation. Clean lines shift, extend, and flow, echoing the frames of animation itself. Rather than adding decoration, forms evolve through simple changes in shape and direction, creating a system that feels alive, flexible, and constantly in motion.

Together, the name and visual language position Animate Niagara as a living platform for animation, illustration, and moving art, not just an event, but a creative force that brings ideas to life.
